Zack Lawson’s practice covers white-collar criminal defense, government investigations, constitutional challenges, and high-stakes civil disputes. He has handled healthcare fraud, securities violations, public corruption, and complex financial crimes, with particular experience managing parallel civil and criminal proceedings at the same time.
He joined Hemp Law Group in 2024 alongside Alex Little, shortly after Litson PLLC launched, to help grow the practice Joey Fuson founded in 2019.
For hemp clients, that background matters most when a matter runs on two tracks at once. A seizure can produce a criminal charge, a forfeiture proceeding, and a civil rights claim out of the same afternoon, and those pieces have to be worked together rather than one at a time. He has been part of the team on the group’s civil rights cases against agencies that seized legal hemp, including the California Gold Farms and Smith matters.
